The ophthalmic imaging department is run by a staff of skilled, experienced, and caring photographers. The department is responsible for the following imaging tests: corneal topogrpahy, external photography, fluorescein angiography, fundus photography, optical coherence tomography, retcam photography, retinal oximetry, slit lamp imaging. Other imaging tests performed at UNC Department of Ophthalmology include: B & A scan ultrasound, full-field electroretinography, multifocal electroretinography pupillometry, specular microscopy.
