In addition to completion of the
application for residency education, personal interviews may be required.
These are held on specified Saturdays during the late fall and winter.
Luncheon and a tour of the facilities are provided at that time.
The match number for the five-year
program is 190038.
The number for the six-year program is 190086.
The following points should be
clearly understood:
- The first year of graduate education
is similar for all residents-surgical and orthopaedic.
- Matching to one of the orthopaedic
positions for the first year of graduate education (internship) is usually
tantamount to acceptance into the orthopaedic program, assuming that
the first year is satisfactorily completed.
