Dr. Fordham is Section Chief of Pediatric Imaging at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Her areas of research include respiratory damage in children exposed to urban pollution, reduction of radiation in pediatric fluoroscopy and CT and in the radiologic manifestations of pediatric diseases such as ehrlichiosis. She is a member of the American Association of Women in Radiology, the American College of Radiology, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Radiologic Society of North America and the Society for Pediatric Radiology, among others.
