Joshua Cohen’s services are covered under Medicare Part B even though the patient is not eligible for in-home physical therapy.

His business provides physical therapy in people’s homes under Medicare Part B. They do not need to be labeled “homebound” to have his services paid for under Medicare Part B.

If a patient has qualified for home health services (paid under Part A), the services will last only so long and then the patient is discharged by the doctor and/or physical therapist. However, patients may still need physical therapy but do not feel able or wish to go to a physical therapist’s office. He will come to the home.
