1) Clinical research in the area of lung transplantation (including post transplant osteoporosis, PTLD, infections related to B. cepacia and panresistant organisms, and obliterative bronchiolitis)

2) Basic mechanisms of chronic lung allograft rejection

3) Studies of the pathogenesis and treatment of bone disease in cystic fibrosis
