APPLICATION PROCESS

Three positions are available each year in the Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship program on a competitive basis. You must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Program (ERAS). Applications for 2008 will be accepted through ERAS beginning in December 2006. To apply to the program, visit the ERAS Web site. The application requires the following information:

•  ERAS application

•  Curriculum vitae

•  Official medical school transcripts

•  USMLE results

•  Three letters of reference – one of them must be written by the program director or co-director from residency program.

•  Personal statement

•  If applicable, attach a copy of your ECFMG certificate (if you graduated from medical school outside of the United States)

Upon receiving the applications through ERAS, applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit our program for a personal interview with selected faculty. Interviews are conducted between February and May of each prior to the match date. Invitations, confirmation of your interview and other correspondence will be sent via email. The deadline for submitting an application for the 2008 pulmonary/critical care medicine fellowship will be March 30, 2007.
