What is Emergency Medicine?

Emergency Medicine is one of the newest and most exciting medical specialties in the United States.  We are fortunate to have many valuable resources at UNC to educate and introduce the many aspects of Emergency Medicine to our students.  EMIG provides exposure to Emergency Medicine for all medical students and offers guidance for those pursuing Emergency Medicine as a career.

Check out the UNC Department of Emergency Medicine for more information.
