How do you manage to stay balanced and healthy in spite of the busy med school schedule?

Wow, thanks, I’m flattered you think so…J I try to get 6-7 hours of sleep a night and go to the gym in the morning before class.

What’s the most important piece of advice you would give to an incoming MS1?

Don’t buy netter. Or any other books. Unless you want to buy mine.

Tell us one of your favorite memories from your first year of med school in the form of a haiku!

rolly-chair freeze-tag
down the halls of berryhill
awesome study break.

Tell us your favorite joke.

Ok, so there’s this cop, sitting in his patrol car on the side of the road, and he sees a man drive by in a truck full of penguins! So he pulls the guy over and says, “Sir, what are you doing with all these penguins?” The man says “I know, I know, you see my father just passed away and he left me all these penguins in his will, so I gotta take care of em.” The cop says “Well sir, you can’t have all these penguins. You have to take them to the zoo.” So the man says OK, I’ll do that. Well about a week later the cop sees the man drive by again, still with a truckful of penguins, except this time all the penguins are wearing sunglasses! So he pulls the man over again, and says “Sir, I thought I told you to take these penguins to the zoo!” “I did!” says the man. “We had such a good time, I took ‘em to Disneyworld!”

(ba-dum Chhhhh!)

If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Ciao Bella raspberry sorbet. You can buy it at Weaver street…if you haven’t tried it, you should…if I could BE a food, this would be it!

Give us your favorite first year “one-liner”.
