UNC Integrate

The UNC Integrative, Complementary and Alternative Medicine (ICAM) Student Organization

Integrate! was founded for the purpose of uniting individuals who desire to learn and live as open-minded practitioners of the healing arts.  We seek to educate ourselves and others on Complementary, Alternative and Integrative Medicine, both through direct experience and shared knowledge.  Additionally, we recognize that in order to be an effective healer we must, ourselves, embody health and wellbeing.  We seek to empower ourselves and our peers with methods to integrate a healthy lifestyle into the med student career.

We work closely with the UNC Program on Integrative Medicine, and are actively establishing relationships with ICAM practitioners in our community.  In the past we have had practitioners speak on acupuncture, preventive medicine, stress management and more.  We have also had compassionate practitioners in the community offer free healing sessions to UNC students.  Click here to read comments on the free massage sessions, shiatsu, reflexology, and more.  If you are a practitioner interested in getting involved with Integrate!, please contact Lani.
