Collection Sites and Contacts

1. LABOR AND DELIVERY (1 BIN)
Location: On the 4th floor of the Women’s Hospital. This bin is located in the storage room in front of the secretary’s desk. Go to the 4th floor of the women’s hospital, then pick up the phone and ask the secretary to let you into the labor and delivery room area.

2. MAIN HOSPITAL OPERATING ROOMS and OPERATING ROOM ANNEX
(THIS AREA HAS 2 BINS)
Location: On the 2nd floor in the main hospital. In between patient waiting areas suite B and suite A there is a door labeled "Surgical Services," (Surgical Services is right in front of Vascular Interventional Radiology). Go through the Surgical Services door, the bins are on the left of the hallway.

3. WOMEN’S AND CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL SURGICAL AREAS (1 BIN)
Location: To get to this bin go to the SECOND FLOOR OF THE MAIN HOSPITAL, AS IF YOU ARE GOING TO THE MAIN HOSPITAL BINS. Walk down the hallway past the patient waiting areas Suite A and B. Make the first right into the surgical area (it is not labeled but it is the door across from the Post Anesthesia recovery room area), go through the dark brown double doors and go towards the light brown door labeled “exit stairs.” The bin is located behind this door.

4. PEDIATRICS INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
Location: 2nd floor of the Women’s hospital. Go the 2nd floor of the main hospital and cross over into the women’s hospital. Follow the signs to the “Pediatrics intensive care unit”. Our bin is in the soiled utility room next to the bathroom.

5. CENTRAL STERILE PROCESSING
Location: Ground floor of main hospital, down the main hallway past the central distribution entrance on the right.

6. FOURTH FLOOR OPERATING ROOMS
Location: Go to the fourth floor of memorial hospital, take the silver or blue elevators so that you end up near the Anderson wing, where the 4700 patient rooms are. When you come out of the elevators, look for the Trauma department sign, right in front are double wooden doors that lead to the operating rooms. Go to the pre-operative area, walk straight past the patient beds and our bin is right behind the curtain.

7. ASSISTED REPRODUCTIVE TECHNOLOGY CINIC IN THE WOMEN'S HOSPITAL
Location: Go to the main lobby of the women's hospital and take the escalator to the first floor. Go straight to clinic section A. Go through the clinic door by the front desk and follow the signs to the bin (make a left and go straight through a wooden door, then make a right into the treatment rooms area, then go into the soiled utility room on the left). The bin sings will be up until March.

8. FOURTH FLOOR OLD CLINIC BUILDING
Location: Go to the 4th floor of the old clinic building, the bin is by Georgine Lamvu's office door, room 4021.

ALL BINS MUST BE RETURNED TO THEIR ORIGINAL LOCATION.
