Public Affairs & Marketing

Public Affairs & Marketing is responsible for internal and external communications that strengthen awareness and support of UNC Health Care’s mission to be the nation’s leading public academic medical center.

We provide services more specifically for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine as well as UNC Hospitals that:

• Promote the academic, research and outreach accomplishments of faculty and students.

• Strengthen UNC Health Care’s image and reputation through coordinated marketing and communication strategies and through issues and crisis management.

• Offer leadership in graphic standards, messaging and communication protocol that reinforce the UNC Health Care image and advance the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine’s strategic goals.
