NC TraCS Institute offers monthly educational sessions to provide general information about the NC TraCS Institute, and more specifically about the NC TraCS Pilot Grant Program. If you are planning to apply for an NC TraCS pilot grant, we highly recommend you attend one of these sessions. The next session will take place on November 11th and will include brief presentations by NC TraCS Research Navigators, Regulatory and Biostatistics Core personnel. The session will also include plenty of time for questions from attendees. Please RSVP to Paul Kerr at if you plan to attend. These monthly Pilot Program informational sessions will be held on the second Thursday of each month from 1:00 – 2:00pm in Brinkhous-Bullitt Room 219.

Join Andrew Fisher and Merrill Mason for a webinar on November 5th! In this webinar they will discuss the decisions to be made and documents required to put an initial stock option plan in place. They will also cover the requirements for making option grants, the differences between incentive (sometimes called "statutory") stock options and nonqualified (or "nonstatutory") stock options, the importance of setting an option strike price, and various tax implications of stock options. Finally, they will touch on the mechanics of grants of restricted stock and the differences between restricted stock and stock options.
