Dr. Kaufer also is the division chief of Cognitive & Behavioral Neurology and director of the UNC Memory Disorders Program.

  • Review clinical and pathological features of common neurodegenerative disorders in relation to CTE.
  • Discuss the potential impact of new structural and functional brain imaging modalities on research and clinical care.
  • Examine the limitations of our current knowledge about CTE and the need for prospective validation studies.
