After you have completed 'Creating Web Pages with Dreamweaver,' the next step in Web development is publishing the site to the Web. In this class, you will learn how files are transferred onto a server so that it is available on the Web for others to see. We will go over how to obtain your own Web space or how to get access to your department Web space. You will practice publishing and editing Web site files on mock space on the Medical School server.
Classes are held in 67 MacNider Hall, site of the Faculty Multimedia Development Lab, and last about an hour. They are open to SOM faculty and to staff and medical students working on faculty curriculum projects. Each class includes hands-on use of OIS equipment.
