Introduction to Program Evaluation Workshop Series

The workshop will discuss the purpose for doing evaluation and familiarize participants with the major types of program evaluation including processes, impacts, and outcomes.  Participants will also become familiar with different designs & methods and cover resources available.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Define program evaluation and understand the purpose of program evaluation
• Identify different types of evaluations: process, impact and outcome
• Set clear program evaluation goals and objectives
• Describe different evaluation methods and identify at least one that is specific to their program objectives
