 mmunity members who either currently work with the University or who a
 re interested in becoming research partners. Workshop does not include
  IRB certification\, but does include tools to use when community memb
 ers are ready to be certified. \n \n \nBy the conclusion of the worksh
 op\, participants will be able to: \n•Understand the role of the Ins
 titutional Review Board in research•Describe the importance of resea
 rch ethics •Understand the history of research ethics in the United 
 States•Be prepared to become certified in CITI Training at UNC-Chape
