A 'Miracle Baby' at UNC Hospitals

Thursday, July 29, 2010 — 17-month old Jessiah Jackson was rushed to UNC Hospitals with a metal rod stuck in his brain. UNC neurosurgeon Dr. Anand V. Germanwala removed the rod and helped to save the little boy's life. Jessiah is being called a 'Miracle Baby' and has earned national attention along with Dr. Germanwala.
