Research Statistician

Chenguang Du, PhD, is a research statistician for Abacus. He earned his PhD in Educational Research and Evaluation from Virginia Tech, where he studied various quantitative methods in social science. His main focus is on latent growth modeling, multilevel modeling, structural equation modeling (SEM), and item analysis based on CTT theory. Before joining UNC-Chapel Hill, Chenguang worked as a Postdoc Associate in Rutgers University. His research focus was on how psychosocial factors are associated with cognitive decline among US older adults.
