Clinical Associate Professor, ENT – Voice and Swallowing

Summary Statement:

I am an associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. I completed undergrad at UGA and medical school at Emory University. I followed this with residency training in otolaryngology here at UNC-Chapel Hill. I went on to complete a fellowship in laryngology at Mt. Sinai in New York City. I feel very lucky to have rejoined the UNC family as faculty in 2013. Influenced by my upbringing and cultural influences, teaching and mentorship have become my passion. Beyond my clinical and academic work, I have found joy pursuing roles that work closely with medical students and trainees. I currently serve as associate program director for otolaryngology and as a career goal advisor. I joined the advisory college in 2020. Working with students in advising has become one of the most fulfilling and inspiring aspects of my job. I look forward to meeting you and joining you on this amazing journey.
