Summary Statement:

Dr. Megan Pruette is an adult psychiatrist with a passion for mental health advocacy. She treats adult patients on an outpatient basis using both medications and therapy to support patients to reach their own goals and live within their own values. In addition to her outpatient work, Dr. Pruette sees patients in the North Carolina Prison System. Dr. Pruette is the co-director of the Human Behavior in Health and Disease course for medical students in Foundation Phase. Her clinical research is focused on improving mental health care for incarcerated individuals.
