Apartments are available in 2 and 4 bedrooms but are only available to students staying between June and the end of the first week in August. Currently,\u00a0 there are one- and two-bedroom fully furnished apartments on both north and south campus. Each unit includes linens, towels, and kitchenware. Rent is $38.50 a night equaling approximately $1155 a month for a furnished apartment. Please check the <a href=\"https:\/\/conferences.unc.edu\/guest-housing\/guest-apartments\/\">Guest housing page<\/a> for the most up-to-date information.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">Summer Subleases<\/h3>\n<p>During summer, subleases are readily available in Chapel Hill as an option for MSTAR housing. However, not all sublets are in close proximity to the UNC-CH campus. Be sure the check the location for nearby bus routes. In addition to <a class=\"external-link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.Chapelhillrent.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.Chapelhillrent.com <\/a>and the <a href=\"https:\/\/raleigh.craigslist.org\/search\/apa\">Raleigh Craigslist<\/a> apartment section, we can also post your inquiry on the private UNC student medical Facebook page.<\/p>\n<p>Most students find reasonable summer sublets through our medical student Facebook page.\u00a0 In addition, a vast number of sublets are within a convenient distance from one of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.townofchapelhill.org\/government\/departments-services\/transit\/routes-schedules\">Chapel Hill&#8217;s many free city bus stops<\/a>. In order to place a listing on the UNC student medical Facebook page, please email <a href=\"mailto:mstar@med.unc.edu\">mstar@med.unc.edu<\/a> directly.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">Short-Term Furnished Apartments<\/h3>\n<p>With so many universities and young professionals in the Triangle, there are ample furnished apartments with short-term lease agreements. However, short term rentals in the Triangle are not usually inexpensive.
