As a result, we also work to improve the health and well-being of the aging population across North Carolina and the nation. Moreover, we support the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/geriatrics\/\">Division of Geriatric Medicine<\/a> to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">provide person-centered, exceptional clinical care to older patients<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">connect families and caregivers with community resources<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">train the next generation of Geriatricians<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">But we don&#8217;t stop there. Improving care for older adults means training different types of providers such as dentists, pharmacists, cardiologists, and even oncologists.
