This poster will provide evidence-based information related to the morphological complexities of science vocabularythat typify science texts in 6th-12th grade. In addition, we offer a corpus of science vocabulary and a frequency-of-use approach toselecting morphemes that will best support adolescents' ability to successfully navigate morphologically complex science words.
