Amanda Bock is a doctoral student in the School of Education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her B.A. in Psychology at UNC-CH and her M.Ed. in Learning Disabilities from Columbus State University in Georgia. She worked as a special education paraeducator in North Carolina, then as a special education teacher in Georgia. Her research interests focus on paraeducators in special education, instructional practices that help students with severe disabilities learn to read and write, and effective inclusion for all students.
