The program combines academic preparation with direct field experience in many different public and private rehabilitation settings, thus providing students with a strong applied base in service delivery that is grounded in theory and current research.

By the end of their first fall semester, students will identify their specialty track. Students can also pursue a dual-track option. Options include:

  • Mental Health Counseling: Developmental Disabilities, or;
  • Mental Health Counseling: Psychiatric Disabilities, or;
  • Dual track of study
