Heather Newhart joined our EC preschool team 2 years ago right before the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Mrs. Newhart brought to our district a wealth of occupational therapy knowledge and experience. Throughout the past 2 years Mrs. Newhart has work diligently as a team member to help build awareness of the need for occupational therapy supports in the preschool environment. She has helped to build staff and parent knowledge of how motor skills, social-emotional skills, and sensory efficiency impact overall childhood development and early school success. Mrs. Newhart is continually adding to her knowledge and skillset to best serve our students and support our teaching staff. She is a valuable asset to the HCS EC Preschool Team.
