We encourage you to review the information provided on the website about both the MS program and the admissions process.
Once you have reviewed the information available on this website, if you have further questions, please email OSinfo@med.unc.edu.
In addition, prospective master’s degree students may find it helpful to attend an information session, which are scheduled on specific Friday afternoons from 3-5 p.m. several times during the fall and spring semesters (no information sessions are scheduled during the summer). Due to time constraints, we are not able to schedule individual meetings with prospective students, but do welcome you at these information sessions. Information session handouts are available for download here.
You also may make a request to sit in on a class by reviewing the current class schedule and then submitting a class visit request form. Class visits for fall semester classes typically are available after Labor Day and until the week before Thanksgiving. Class visits for spring semester classes typically begin the 3rd week in January until the end of the first week in April. Class visits are scheduled as possible based on a first come-first served basis.MS admissions information
