Raheleh Ghasseminia is an occupational therapist at University Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy on Oakdale Drive in Hillsborough, North Carolina. She is also an associate professor in the UNC School of Medicine. Ghasseminia has more than nine years experience as an OT in inpatient rehab and is delighted to serve clients on an outpatient basis.

As an OT, she serves clients with neurologic, orthopedic, or general impairments who, as a result, have muscle weakness, incoordination, cognitive impairments, and/or poor endurance. These can impact self care, work, school, and leisure activities.

Ghasseminia has extensive experience working with with clients who have experienced spinal cord injuries, brain injury, and stroke. She also works with older adults and their caregivers.

Through her outpatient practice, Ghasseminia is able to perform home visits under the Medicare Part B benefit and other private insurances for home safety evaluations and in-home therapy services.

She also performs wheelchair seating and positioning evaluations in the clinic or in client homes.
