At University Physical Therapy, we value the contributions of students at various stages of their academic preparation. Our faculty clinicians truly bring coursework and evidence alive for our students and patients in clinic through quality patient care. Whether you are a student interested in volunteering and observing in our clinic or recent graduate interested in participating in a residency program, UPT provides a unique and beneficial learning experience in all aspects of outpatient physical therapy.

  • Clinical Residency Program

Orthopedic PT Residency Program

The faculty of the Division of Physical Therapy is committed to developing residents who are recognized leaders within their specialty area of choice. Residents will develop excellence in examination, diagnosis, intervention, consultation, teaching and the integration of best evidence into the patient care they provide within their special area of interest. They will develop as a resource for the community in prevention and rehabilitation of orthopedic conditions and will contribute to the profession through teaching, writing and leadership.  Graduates of the residency program will be fully prepared to sit for their specialty certification examination.
