The annual meeting of the American Cochlear Implant Alliance (ACIA) brings together professionals and industry leaders from across the United States and from other nations to advance access to hearing through cochlear implant research, advocacy, and awareness. Among the 2019 attendees were more than 20 Doctor of Audiology and speech-language pathology alumni. The Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences is proud of the excellent work they are all doing in a variety of roles and settings to facilitate communication in children and adults.
