Personal Statement

Dr. Griffin is a clinical audiologist and faculty member born in Raleigh and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Griffin’s main interests revolve around two different aspects of audiology, namely, hearing loss and balance and dizziness assessment and treatment. Dr. Griffin practices at the UNC Hearing and Communication Center (UNC-HCC), a faculty clinic in Chapel Hill. He provides adult diagnostic and hearing rehabilitative services, including the selection and fitting of hearing aids and assistive devices. Because of his strong interest and clinical background the audiological diagnosis and management of vertigo and disorders of balance, he also serves as the instructor for the Balance and Dizziness Assessment and Treatment course in the Audiology Doctoral Program. 

Dr. Griffin is a licensed audiologist in the state of North Carolina, a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is Board Certified with the American Board of Audiology. He currently serves as the interim president of the North Carolina Audiology Association.
