Did you know that hearing loss is twice as common in people with diabetes compared to those without it? As high sugar levels damage small blood vessels, blood circulation to the inner ear may become compromised. This damage can result in hearing loss and/or balance problems. Please join us for National Diabetes Month as we take a closer look at the connection between diabetes and the inner ears.
