Manage Your Tinnitus Through Your Hearing Aids

Most hearing aids now include tinnitus relief features. A specialized program built into a hearing aid provides signals like white noise, nature sounds or non-repetitive tonal combinations to mask your tinnitus. The main goal of these programs is to shift your attention away from the tinnitus sound. Many of these programs can be customized to your liking and are available to you to use if or when you need it. Ask your Audiologist if a tinnitus program is available in your hearing aids to get started.

Some options can be built into your hearing aids for direct streaming into your ears and others can be found in hearing aid phone apps. The following apps can be used with or without hearing aids through a speaker or earbuds.

Tinnitus Assessment

While tinnitus is incredibly common, some individuals find it to be highly bothersome and disruptive to daily activities like sleeping and studying.
