Both clinical training programs within the Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences require that individuals admitted into either program have the necessarily abilities to practice as a speech-language-pathologist or as an audiologist. These technical standards detail what those are. Students admitted to the program are expected to sign the standards annually, affirming that they can perform the necessary tasks described (with accommodation as needed).

Additional information about technical standards can be found on the Office of Accessibility & Student Services website.
