Graduate Research Assistant, Preschool Project

Chelsea is currently a graduate research assistant in the Department of Allied Health Sciences. She is a 2018 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Linguistics with minors in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Spanish. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology at UNC-CH. Prior to joining the project, Chelsea has worked as a camp counselor with the Boys & Girls Club and volunteered at Frank Porter Graham Elementary School. She assists the researchers by assessing the 3-year-old preschool participants in the study and helping with intervention fidelity. Chelsea is interested in language and literacy development and wants to work in a pediatric setting in the future. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and reading.
