The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Bowles Center for Alcohol Studies (BCAS) hosts the Postdoctoral Insights in Neuroscience and Therapeutics (PINT) Seminar Series, an invited seminar series open to postdoctoral researchers from U.S. institutions. Selected speakers will present their research to members of BCAS and associated departments.

We will welcome applicants from all areas of neuropharmacology research (i.e., pharmacology, neuroscience, psychiatry, psychology, cell biology, genetics, and toxicology) with a special interest in addiction, substance use, and co-morbid diseases. Applicants will be selected based on application criteria. Upon selection, applicants will be expected to present an hour in-person seminar based on their postdoctoral work, meet with BCAS postdocs, and have lunch with BCAS graduate students to discuss research and career development. Associated costs will be covered by UNC.

Applications will open in the Summer of 2026, with expected presentation date in the Spring of 2027. To apply, please submit the following submission materials by Friday, October 9, 2026, using the following link: PINT Seminar Series.
