The Animal Models Core offers a full suite of genome engineering services for the generation of genetically modified mouse and cell line models for biomedical research.<\/p>\n

CRISPR\/Cas9 Services<\/a> <\/span><\/p>\n

The Animal Models Core has fully implemented the CRISPR\/Cas9 system for genome modification in mice and cell lines.<\/span><\/p>\n

ES Cell Gene Targeting Services<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

The Animal Models Core can produce knockout mice, conditional knockout mice, knockin mice, etc. by gene targeting in embryonic stem cells. We offer full-service packages as well as ad-hoc services to meet our clients’ needs. <\/span><\/p>\n

Transgenic Mouse Services<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

The Animal Models Core offers a full range of pronuclear injection services for production of transgenic mice. Transgenic mouse production is routinely performed in C57BL\/6, with other strains such as FVB or hybrid strains available upon request. Transgenic injections can also be performed in custom strains provided by the client. Transgene cloning and BAC recombineering services are available for production of transgenes.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Animal Models Core offers a full range of BAC recombineering services <\/span><\/p>\n

Reproductive Services<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

We offer reproductive services including sperm and embryo cryopreservation, strain resuscitation from frozen embryos, strain rederivation, in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
