Carolina Inn at Night

The interview visit is planned to be as informative and pleasant as possible. Because we recognize the personal expense and effort involved in your coming to Chapel Hill for an interview, we organize the day so that you, the faculty, and our residents will learn enough about each other to make an informed decision about your residency choice.

Applicants will stay at the beautiful Carolina Inn on the UNC campus as a special part of their interview experience. The evening before your interview, you will be invited to attend an informal Chair’s Reception where you will have the opportunity to meet the Department Chair, faculty members and residents. Following the reception you will spend the rest of the evening having dinner and getting to know our residents at a local restaurant in Chapel Hill.
