The Residency Anesthesia Mastery Series (RAMS) consists of hands-on, half-day workshops designed to provide residents with protected educational time focused on developing practical clinical skills. These interactive sessions cover a wide range of anesthesia topics, including point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), airway management, regional anesthesia, and other essential procedural and perioperative skills.
Previous workshops have featured regional anesthesia cadaver labs, advanced airway management techniques, POCUS training with standardized patients, an anesthesia-themed escape room, and a variety of team-building activities. In addition to enhancing clinical knowledge and technical proficiency, the Mastery Series provides residents with the opportunity to learn collaboratively as a class, fostering strong camaraderie and a supportive learning environment.
