I sought a program that was well respected, and where housing was affordable in a low-key city with outdoor opportunities. I found my education is exceptional, and that I can enjoy a healthy work-life balance.<\/p>\n<h3>What do you do for fun?<\/h3>\n<p>I like gardening in North Carolina; it&#8217;s easy here! Otherwise, anything outdoors with my wife, dog and friends! I walk my dog on the American Tobacco Trail almost daily. Locally, I hike and spend time hammocking at Jordan Lake. My more special outings have been day trips to the beach.<\/p>\n<h3>What&#8217;s a hobby you&#8217;ve picked up since the start of residency?<\/h3>\n<p>Improving my woodworking skills by making my patio furniture and dog house with a garden on top.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What drew you to UNC?
