Dr. Gonzalez was born in Miami, FL, and moved to North Carolina right before high school. He is a self-proclaimed Tar Heel, having attended UNC as an undergraduate, a medical student, an Anesthesiology resident and as a Regional Anesthesiology fellow. Dr. Gonzalez joined UNC Anesthesiology faculty as an Assistant Professor in 2023. He currently lives in Durham, NC, with his wife (also a Tar Heel graduate) and their dog.<\/p>\n
