Beverages will be available during lectures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where is the conference center and is there nearby parking?<br \/>\n<\/strong>The West Beach Conference Center is located at 2 Shipwatch Rd, Kiawah Island, SC 29455 (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/ikihwDeF6vJXigCf9\">map<\/a><\/strong>). Parking is available at the lot in the rear of the building, the garage under it and the pool parking lot adjacent from it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I book my stay at Kiawah Island Golf Resort? Can I book online?<br \/>\n<\/strong>A Kiawah Resort representative will book your stay. It is recommended that you use <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kiawahresort.com\/reservation-request\/unc-school-of-medicine-335\/\">this link<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>to request booking service, and the resort will contact you directly. You can also call <a class=\"navisTFN\" href=\"tel:1-800-654-2924\">(800) 654-2924.<\/a> C<em>urrently there is not an online-only booking option.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Does the Carolina Refresher Course provide accredited CME?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0Attendees of the 2026 Carolina Refresher Course have the possibility of earning up to 22.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)\u2122.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2026 CME:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The School of Medicine of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill designates this live activity for 22.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)\u2122. CRNAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.<\/p>\n<p><em>The School of Medicine of the University of North Carolina is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>When will I receive my CME credit?<br \/>\n<\/strong>You will receive documentation within 2 weeks of completing the course. CRNA\u2019s will receive a digital certificate they will need to submit to the ANAA to secure credit. Physicians will receive a link from the UNC School of Medicine CME office with a transcript of your credits.<\/p>\n<p>Physicians please note: Quality Improvement credits are reported to the ABA on your behalf, but <em><strong>Patient Safety Credits are self-reported<\/strong><\/em>. Reservations received after this date will only be filled on a space-and-rate available basis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do I have to attend all lectures\/days to receive credit?<br \/>\n<\/strong>You will receive credit for attending any lectures and completing the respective evaluations for the lectures you attend.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Will lecture materials be available before and after the conference?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Yes. A link to PDFs of lecture materials will be available for download beginning on the day of the lecture and kept available for at least one year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I need accommodations ensured by the American Disabilities Act. Some workshops may have added capacity during the course. Please see CRC customer service at the check-in desk to inquire about joining a workshop.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is this course designed for CRNA\u2019s and CAA\u2019s as well as physicians, fellows and residents?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Yes. The course is designed for physicians, including but not limited to anesthesiologists, critical care specialists, pain specialists, surgeons, and internists, as well as certified registered nurse anesthetists, anesthesiology resident and fellow physicians, certified anesthesiologist assistants, and allied services practitioners.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is there a discount for UNC resident, fellow and faculty alumni?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Yes.
