Rotation Blocks:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Scheduling \/ Notification Cycle<\/strong>:<\/h4>\n

March 2026<\/strong>: 1st or 2nd week of March through 3\/31\/25 at latest
\n* Students have 2 weeks from notification to accept or decline one (1) rotation.<\/p>\n

Students must submit:
\n1) \u00a0Academic records (not letters of good standing)
\n2) \u00a0A brief statement outlining the reasons for wanting to rotate at UNC (preference for ties to NC, desire to work in NC)
\n3) \u00a0Selection of specific rotation block (with the option to apply for multiple blocks to increase chances of acceptance).<\/p>\n

Max Enrollment:<\/strong>\u00a03 students per rotation block
\nDuration:<\/strong>\u00a04 weeks (see above for rotation blocks based on UNC medical school calendar<\/a><\/strong>)
\nClinical:<\/strong>\u00a0Yes, combination of weekdays, night shifts (trauma, L&D), 2 weekend shifts.\u00a0 Pre- and\/or Post- call days depending on assignment<\/p>\n

Learning Objectives:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The primary objective of the rotation is to provide insight and training in the principles of anesthesia and intraoperative care. Experience will include:<\/p>\n
