Pain Management Fellowship<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Number of Positions for 2027-2028:\u00a0 3<\/p>\n

Fellowship Duration: 12 months<\/p>\n

Applications accepted beginning:\u00a0 December 1, 2025<\/p>\n

Deadline for submission:\u00a0 May 31, 2026<\/p>\n

The University of North Carolina’s Anesthesiology Pain Management Fellowship participates 100% in the NRMP Match. The match days for Anesthesiology Pain Management Fellowship positions for 2027-2028 can be found on the NRMP website. The match will open in May 2026 and Match Day will be in early October 2026. The fellowship will begin July 1, 2027.<\/p>\n

Selection Process<\/h2>\n

We participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS)<\/a> and the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP)<\/a>. Upon receipt of your ERAS application, the Residency Selection Committee will review your credentials. \u00a0Please be sure to include 3 letters of recommendation with the application. These letters will be in addition to your Dean’s letter.<\/p>\n

The letters of recommendation should include the following:<\/p>\n
