We believe strongly that diversified education approaches allow our fellows to mature in both their professional and personal lives. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright-top-margin\" src=\"http:\/\/www.aims.unc.edu\/images\/education\/fellowships\/pain1.jpg\" width=\"339\" height=\"340\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our educational offerings include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anesthesiology Morning Conferences<\/li>\n<li>Pain Medicine Weekly Lecture Series<\/li>\n<li>Interesting Case Conferences<\/li>\n<li>Medical device &amp; emerging pain therapy presentations from industry representatives<\/li>\n<li>M&amp;M Conferences<\/li>\n<li>Journal Clubs<\/li>\n<li>Research Conferences<\/li>\n<li>Directed Reading<\/li>\n<li>Computer Resources<\/li>\n<li>UNC Health Sciences Library<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Lecture Series<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Several departmental conferences are scheduled each week for Residents, Faculty and Staff. Departmental Grand Rounds is held every Wednesday from 7:00am-8:00am.<\/li>\n<li>The Pain Medicine Lecture Series is held weekly on Tuesdays from 12:00pm &#8211; 1:00pm.<\/li>\n<li>The fellows are encouraged to attend departmental conferences and are required to attend the Pain Medicine Lecture Series.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Research Conferences<\/h2>\n<p>Research Conferences are hosted weekly by the Division of Research.<\/p>\n<h2>Journal Clubs<\/h2>\n<p>Pain-specific Journal Clubs are held monthly as an evening program.
