You will be encouraged to record their daily progress in a log book, which will also be provided. <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-group\">\n<div class=\"accordion-heading\"><a class=\"accordion-toggle\" href=\"#collapseThree\"> During Surgery<\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-body collapse\" id=\"collapseThree\">\n<div class=\"accordion-inner\">Antibiotic Prophylaxis<br \/>\u2022 Will be given within 1 hour of incision.<\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-inner\"><span>Tailored Anesthesia Care<\/span><br \/>\u2022 <span>Evidence-based, best practice recommendations will be used throughout the surgery to ensure individualized blood pressure management, prevention of blood clots, careful IV fluid administration, and medication administration.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-group\">\n<div class=\"accordion-heading\"><a class=\"accordion-toggle\" href=\"#collapseFour\"> After Surgery<\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-body collapse\" id=\"collapseFour\">\n<div class=\"accordion-inner\"><span>Postoperative Pain Management<\/span><br \/>\u2022 <span>Pain will be treated with several different medications to target different pain receptors.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-inner\">Pulmonary Wellness Strategy<br \/>\u2022 You will be encouraged to use incentive spirometry and to use a bedside log book to record their maximum volume efforts each hour while they are awake.<\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-inner\">Activity<br \/><span>\u2022 Daily ambulation goals will be set by the medical team and their completion encouraged by nursing staff.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-group\">\n<div class=\"accordion-heading\"><a class=\"accordion-toggle\" href=\"#collapseFIVE\">Educational Materials<\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-body collapse\" id=\"collapseFIVE\">\n<ul>\n<li><a class=\"external-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=74pVa7y29f4\" target=\"_self\" title=\"\">What is TAVR<\/a>?
