No external moonlight opportunities are permitted. Residents are compensated on an hourly basis for these shifts.<\/li>\n<li>Moonlighting opportunities are currently offered:\n<ul>\n<li>In the main OR\n<ul>\n<li>Every weekday evening from 4:30-8pm<\/li>\n<li>Weekends and Holidays from 9am-5pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>On labor and delivery\n<ul>\n<li>Saturday night from 7pm to 7am<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>In the Cardiothoracic ICU\n<ul>\n<li>Weekends from 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-23429\" src=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/anesthesiology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/470\/2020\/01\/Moonlighting-300x245.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"245\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/anesthesiology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/470\/2020\/01\/Moonlighting-300x245.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/anesthesiology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/470\/2020\/01\/Moonlighting.jpg 396w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Residents who have completed 6 months of anesthesia training and scored above the 30th percentile on their most recent In-training Examination (ITE) are eligible to moonlight on the weekends.
