Named to her second 12-month AACPD Council term, Dr. Martinelli is among four members who assist top leadership in guiding residency program leaders nationwide through reshaping their programs in accordance with shifting training requirements and policies in anesthesiology education.<\/p>\n<p>UNC Anesthesiology Chair David Zvara, MD, FASA, noted: \u201cSelection to serve on the ACGME Anesthesiology Residency Review Committee is reserved for the most outstanding thought leaders in Anesthesiology education and training. This appointment speaks volumes about Dr. Martinelli\u2019s work and contributions to our field. She will contribute invaluably to this committee, and we thank her for helping shape the training standards of a governing body that is critical to the ongoing integrity of Anesthesiology residency
