Two UNC Health affiliates \u2013 UNC Hospitals and UNC Rex Hospital — have scored upper top-10 rankings in the 2022 U.S. News & World Report <\/em>\u201cBest Hospitals for Maternity Care in North Carolina.”\u00a0 UNC Hospitals and UNC Rex Hospital ranked #1 and #4, respectively, in this year\u2019s specialty scoring report on maternity care (by state) of hospitals nationwide. Both North Carolina teaching hospitals also achieved \u201cHigh Performing\u201d marks in maternity care (uncomplicated pregnancies), based on key measures of safety and quality, from midwife attendance at births, to permitting partners to stay overnight, childbirth classes, and neonatal intensive care (NICU). \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
