January 29th to February 4th 2023 is Physician Anesthesiologists Week<\/strong>! UNC Department of Anesthesiology celebrates the 100+ UNC School of Medicine faculty anesthesiologists who oversee patient-centered, physician-led anesthesia care across the UNC Health system. This year marks the ninth annual Physician Anesthesiologists Week. During this week of recognition, UNC Anesthesiology lifts up its own and spotlights the critical role anesthesiologists play both as patient care providers and as advocates who promote awareness of anesthesia care in present-day medical practice through engaging policymakers, healthcare administrators, and the public.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
